Red Blood Cell Cast
Red blood cell cast from the urinary sediment of a patient with chronic glomerulonephritis. The cast looks red because of the hemoglobin of the cells inside. Unstained, X200.
Red blood cell cast from the urinary sediment of the preceding patient. The matrix of the cast is waxy, but the red blood cells inside can be seen clearly. Unstained, X200.
